Razer Kiyo Pro Drivers Support. The Razer Kiyo Pro is the latest product targeted at streamers and content creators, with a new injection of modern technology that hasn’t been seen in the high-end webcam market for some time.
Razer has established itself firmly in the webcam market with its Kiyo Pro big brother, the original Razer Kiyo, which comes with a built-in ring light. The original Kiyo webcam has remained on our list of the best webcams since its release thanks to its sharp videos and innovative design.
The main attraction of the Kiyo Pro is its ability to deliver 1080p video at 60 frames per second without sacrificing sharpness. This is a significant improvement over the regular Kiyo, which is capable of recording 720p video at up to 60 fps or 1080p at 30fps. The Razer Kiyo Pro also offers HDR video, albeit at a 30 fps reduction.
The Kiyo Pro feels like a necessary ripening of the original Kiyo webcam, which often feels like a novelty in its design. I was happy to see Kiyo Pro address a common problem with most webcams by dealing with unpleasant lighting environments. Some people may have missed the ring light but I’m okay with missing out on the overall improvement in image quality.
